Pros…. The story is creative, has action, mystery, a tiny bit of romance. Cons… so much inner monologue, wasted chapters (ex. One is of a phone conversation), totally pg, it end abruptly as if the writer just wanted the book over with.
I give this rating because I really like the it just that I really confuse on the plot beside it has a very odd feeling while reading its how to put it bland or boring? Well that is that but I like it. I like sci-fi novel.
Nice starting to the story. A very new concept to write about. Interested to find out the journey of a ring. Do check some grammer mistakes and use apps like grammerly or proaidwriter for help if needed. Be more stable in the updates
Good story. Much better than the ones we usually get in this webnovel dump. But the English is terrible here. I had easier time reading Chinese machine translation novels than this one. If the author can get an editor this novel can be a success
Reviewed up to chapter 8. The writing quality is on the rough side. The POV switches mid-scene - however, this does seem to be a trend on Webnovel in general -, the pros don't quite flow, and there are grammar errors peppered throughout. However, the writing quality improves dramatically after the first two chapters.The story is paced well. While fast, it allows time to set up the relationship between the main characters, their situation, and their initial goals before getting thrown into the plot. While the character descriptions are in "blocks" the characters themselves have personalities. Beyond some of the dialogue being on the janky side, the characters have unique voices. And I do appreciate the relationship between the leads. It's obvious they care about each other. The world has some unique qualities to it. It's obvious that the writer is well versed in a range of anime and pop culture, and that shows in the world-building. :)
This is what Birth of the Demonic Sword should have been but never managed to. This is a masterpiece. This is fantastic. This is god-tier. I literally finished the whole book in three days, all 500 chapters and can't wait for more...
