Kim Na Ri and Han Chae Soo were inseparable, their bond forged over years of being neighbors and the shared laughter of their families. For as long as she could remember, Chae Soo was her constant—a protector, a confidant, and perhaps something more. But everything changed seven months ago, when a tragic accident left Na Ri scarred, not just physically but emotionally. Since then, Chae Soo has been pulling away, his once-warm gaze now cold, his presence a ghost of what it used to be.

Enter Lee Yul, the enigmatic new guy with an easy smile and a heart seemingly too kind for this world. Unlike Chae Soo, Yul doesn’t flinch at Na Ri’s scars—he embraces her for who she is, becoming the friend and comfort she didn’t know she needed. But his arrival stirs something in Chae Soo, something he’s kept buried beneath the walls he’s built around himself.

As Na Ri tries to navigate the confusing distance from Chae Soo and the blossoming connection with Yul, secrets begin to unravel—secrets that might explain why Chae Soo is so determined to keep her at arm’s length. Is it guilt? Fear? Or something deeper, something he’s too afraid to admit even to himself?

In this tale of love, friendship, and hidden truths, "Love At Side" invites you to uncover the reasons behind Chae Soo’s silence and the role Lee Yul plays in Na Ri’s life. Sometimes, the person you’re meant to be with is the one who pushes you away—and the one who stays might not be as perfect as they seem.

It was nice reading this until the repitition. Now we as readers have to give up twelve spirit stones for "premium" chapters. I am dropping this as easy as the MC leveling up.

Caught up with the author's latest chapters, and I can only say— it's great! The beginning of the novel started slow but be patient, it will take time for it to accelerate. The protagonist is great, it has potential. At first, he may not seem impressive, but as chapters passed by you will gradually see his advantages. For the other characters, I want to see more interaction between them because most of the time it's always female characters I see. I want to see more of the people of the Twilight City. For the romance, I'm still not sure if there is because it's really ambiguous, and there's still no official relationship until now, but I already have a ship I've voted on.This is your sign to read it, just give it a try. The latest chapter is really a cliffhanger, I'll come back when it's already finished.

Important message to all potential readers please read.Hi author here first I want to say thank you for reading my book it’s my second book but it really feels like my first. Im stIll new to this my writing is still Rocky but i do intead to improve as long as I keep going.(So plz forgive the shameless 5 stars)Second thing is that I’ve marked PlaceHolder Shaman as a male leading series when really it’s a female leading series I don’t wanna miss lead anyone but I did this because the male category has more to choose from were the female category is very limited in it’s selection. Placeholder is not a romance nor is it Really a fanatsy it’s an action series with a lead that just happens to be a girl. I hope this isn’t a deal breaker for you and I hope you’ll join me for this journey.

Everything feels too forced and rushed. Too many mistakes in sentences where some words have nothing to do with that sentences which gets really confusing. The logic/reasoning is not throughly thought out because the reasons don’t match with how the author tries to portray the main character. Author needs to worry about quality above quantity because you say one thing which is enough but you want to add more to it which sometimes makes it confusing or unnecessary, there is probably a better way to explain this but not coming to my head right now. The author makes too many side comments as part of the narration of the story which brings down the quality. Also in your narrative you blame characters for their characteristics, which you created, don’t do that........ I have also noticed you try to add to many unnecessary stuff to a sentence and you end up combining two or three thoughts together which don’t make sense...... The biggest problem seems to be structuring the world building/ character building, you mention **** ton of stuff like realms and rare items when people have no idea what they are, I understand you say they are rare but that’s too much for the beginning of the story, it doesn’t help your reads give value to things, what I mean by that is as people read a story they tend to make sense of the world in the story and what has what value, but the way you write it devalues the “super rare items”. Don’t take offense this is a honest review you should try to fix many of these problems if not all, there are other problems but I lost track writing all these. I hope the author improves and fixes his/her previous chapters, I would suggest reading translated novels to get a better idea of how a cultivation novel is structured and there are some top original cultivation novels on this website too.

I really am a sucker when reading zombie apocalypse! This novel kinda reminds me of left four dead, so I expect a lot of great things here in the novel and its succeeding chapters. However, there are some points I'd like to discuss. You need to establish the virus and its background. How it was created. Who created it. When did it started. Although you could start with the apocalypse right off the bat, someone must explain what happened and what are zombies. Zombies are undead creatures that we all know and love, but you still need to explain what are those walking corpses and add something out of it. Grammars and such can be learn so I'll leave that part out of the way. Kudos for the author!

This is the first time I've seen the author change the cover image, hope this mean the author will not leave this abandon. The original was quite great and I was really sad that it to was discontinued, but while this version seems a little weak (the mc) and less versatile, it does not seem like it was rush so it has a better base. All this author's novel are for lack of term novel (as in novelty) and I really hope he not abandon any of his/her work, cause their really worth reading.
