Read until chapter 39.Started with a good premisse, but then it became your usual cultivation novel, but worse because there seems to be no real challenge.Ratings explanations:Bad translation, sometimes confusing.Stability, not enough samples to review.Story. It started ok, a few odd points but mostly ok. Then the quality dropped A LOT, out of nowhere.Character design: MC makes no sense, acts in contradictory ways sometimes. Some of the other characters are ok, some are badly written. World background: almost nothing established so far, the little that was exposed isn’t really good.Overall I wouldn’t recommend it.0 0 Reply

Hello there. As the author, I'm obliged to give a review halfway through. This review is coming late since I already passed the halfway mark of my novel. Now, Now. lemme get to the actual review. As the author, I wrote while viewing my story as having no flaws, but I do admit my novel does have some flaws that can only be seen from the reader's side. So, it is prolly up to you to decide what those flaws are.My good points(this is something that can be verified by other readers)1. First and foremost, I'm deeply proud of my world-building. It is certainly on another level(okay, maybe this is self-love). My lores are something that I can confidently brag about. Moreover, I make sure to minimize my lore-drops since I can barely retain many lores in my mind without checking back on my gdoc. This style of lore-dropping was something I developed over many chapters2. My characters. While it may be argued that I have a small cast of characters, each of them is impactful to the story. They have motivations that drive their side of the story and not all of them have a happy ending. - Volume 1 featured only about a handful of characters. Of course, there were a lot of minor characters - Volume 2 expanded my list of characters marginally - Volume 3 involves my MC venturing into the human world so it is expected that I would have a lot of characters 3. Story Development: I took inspiration from many novels and implemented my take on non-human stories. If I were to give an accurate synopsis, it would simply be, 'The story about Reve's journey and the larger world'. I tend to stay away from regular troupes but that's because I'm viewing things from a logical side. Not all my characters fight. Not all opponents can be considered villains. Not everyone is evil and good. Also, the story is progressive. I think, too progressive. Each consecutive volume builds on the final plot. Stability of Update: I can boast of updating 2 chaps per day throughout the month of February.Writing Quality: my writing quality is better than average. Some chapters are superb and while some are just normal. This reflects on my mood when writing since I write better when I'm not rushed to finished the chapter. After everything, it is safe to say that the Arcadia System is a must read for those that love fantasy.0 0 Reply

What can I say? The main character is annoying. She keeps contradicting herself when it comes to decision-making. She always has an answer for the unknown but at the same time doesn't, always foreshadowing and prognosticating, which makes it seem forced. Additionally, the way the'sensei' acts and presents himself is like an emo, making the story seem childish and difficult for the protagnist. He's acting like some emo who has just lost his family and wishes to destroy everything. All he cares about is killing and gaining strength, which can be extremely annoying at times. This guy won't shut up for a moment and think about his response when he's talking to his "so-called student/host." For someone who made the wish to help others, it appears that he's failing twice. I will say this: I didn't get far, and I couldn't get far. The story seems extremely slow. It's taking forever just to get out of the wasp hive, and even by then you won't know what to expect unless you pay for the rest of the chapters. Although well detailed and descriptive, the things that drag the book down are the characters as well as the pace of the story. Fair warning as well. The story seems to be leading toward Yuri, although not tagged, I like to do my own research on the novels I'm about to read, so judging from the authors' reply to others, it seems like another slow-paced, well-written but boring Yuri book. Other than that, the story seems good. For those who enjoy slow-paced stories with a bit of kingdom building, this is for you. Fair warning The characters' decisions may seem correct, but that is only because the plot allowed them to be. It makes the story seem forced, so it's up to you.0 0 Reply

I'm not so sure what to say about this book since it's just about 5 or 6 chapters in. but the world building alone is mind blowing, way beyond my expectations for the early stages and a twist to some of the cliche tropes on Webnovel. however I worry the author is taking on too much and won't be able to balance it well, but for now. the story is well written and seems full of potential, I'm looking forward to seeing how beasts and cards mesh well.0 0 Reply
