Average is the best word to describe this novel. It's not bad, it's not great, it's kinda enjoyable but with no immersion whatsoever. Characters are mostly flat, with some interesting traits sprinkled sparingly.If you're looking to kill time then do read it. However, it's not deserving of rank 1 imho and is certainly not a masterpiece. Might you be looking for a similar plot minus the juvenile vampire fanfic? Then read [Super God Gene] (a.k.a [Super Gene]), I find the story better in every way.
