Within 2 chapters I've dropped this, this is a new record for the fastest I've dropped something so horay, anyway onto the review. The MC is genuinely one of the dumbest living creatures I've ever read about. So basically he can either pick 100 weak pills or 1 really good magical pill and despite the obviously better choice being the really good pill (since he's alone and probably will be for most of the novel) he chose the 100 pills and used 50 of them to heal his broken meridians. People this dumb do not deserve to be happy or angry or sad they deserve nothing to feel nothing and to recieve nothing.
What this novel needs is an editor. I like this type of novels and its frustrating to read a novel with broken words. The story has no problems so far till chapter 25
After chapter 136. Well, the pace accelerated and is too fast in my opinion, no side arcs and almost no breath in-between (there is but it's skipped in one line and then comes next action). Story is simple so far, somewhat gets repetitive as MC does same routine every cultivation realm (gathering techniques of same realm, upgrading on steroids, then finding his path closed and finding a new one where he will be first given a technique of higher realm).MC finds higher cultivation realms powerful, but once he reaches them, he's like ,,that's it? this is nowhere enough". He can merge techniques like in Way of the Devil. The background sounds similar to some sorcerer novels.. was it A Sorcerer's Journey, where they teleported their whole world to some distant place or another one? Or was it maybe Legendary Mechanic (as well)? Don't remember. Also MTL translated one of the empires as "speaking english".. only once though, sigh.Is this novel good? I think it's above average, but there doesn't seem to be much depth contrary of what I'd expect of a sci-fi novel such as this one. It's readable, MC isn't an idiot. But there are some plot holes, the pace is rushed.
I seldom make a review but I think it deserve it. To those stupid people that mc is a coward and weak how low your logic can u be. A man that live in peace time is transported to another world and u think he will be like a man with a killer personality. I think this is the most realistic transported reaction in all novels I have read. He needs a special skill for clearing his mind with killing heck he even has ptsd after his first kill of a man. In the real world you will have ptsd or nightmare after killing except you're a psychopath which I'm assuming you guys are because u think you'll be fine and brave if you're transported from your home to a jungle with killer bunnies. To all of guys that is in the edge if you want to read this or not then I hope this helps. MC here is not a pussy beta male that being push around and he's also not a alpha kill the shit that doesn't give me face. He's a normal human like me or you that doesn't even know why face in cultivation is so important sorry for the rant
