Leveling Up Against the Gods

"Freedom? Don't be absurd, that silly concept is something a ninja can only obtain in death." Growing up within the care of the Storm clan, Renji was always bound by several laws and codes which restricted him from living his life to the fullest, however that all changed when he met the love of his life. Driven by their love for each other, they broke the code which binded all ninjas together and left the Storm clan. Just when he thought they had finally gained the freedom they sought for all these years, they were hunted down and killed by the storm clan. "Is this the price...one has to pay to attain freedom?" When all hope seemed lost, fate however was not done with him. [Ding! You have awakened the Mythic System!] He transmigrated with a system which allowed him to continuously level up and gain otherworldly abilities, into a magical world as a 18 year old boy who had the same name as him. He found himself facing off against supernatural events and beings similar to the myths he read about in his previous life. Those events were claimed to be the divine punishment of the gods who watched over them as a result of their disobedience, however the more they occurred, the more he realized there was something unfathomable working behind the scenes. Something that couldn't be comprehended.
