No sé.

It's not abandoned I promise. I suffered kidney failure secondary to endometriosis over the past few months and I promise the updates will pick up again regularly as I come to terms with my new health status.

I initially bought this manga for my younger sister, but soon enough, I found myself diving into it as well. Then, a friend of mine who wasn't really into anime gave it a try and ended up loving it, haha.

It's incredibly cute, and I would highly recommend it to anyone with younger family members. It's also the kind of read where you can just relax and unwind. Sometimes, I enjoy reading it before bed.

I particularly appreciate the full-color anonymous version—it might not be the absolute best, but it's definitely great for kids. Oh yeah, Chi's design is just so adorable!!!

How much more does MAL want me to write?

I absolutely adore this manga; it was one of the first mangas I ever read, and I still find myself revisiting it from time to time. My younger sibling shares my enthusiasm for this series, and now that we have a cat, our appreciation for it has grown even more. The story is incredibly charming, though it doesn't delve deeply into complex themes. It's simply about a cute cat being adorable and interacting with other cute animals. In many ways, it's the polar opposite of something like Berserk, and that simplicity works beautifully for it. The artwork is very cartoony and endearing, and although I haven't come across anything exactly like it, I wish the art style was a bit more distinctive. When compared to another cat manga, Plum Crazy, I think its shojo-inspired style suits it well because the cats look unique, and I personally prefer that art style.

Chi's Sweet Home features numerous characters, but most of them aren't as significant as Chi herself. Cocchi, in my opinion, is the next most important character. Perhaps I'm biased since I have a soft spot for him, but you can observe him growing closer to Chi and becoming friendlier throughout the series, especially after their initial meeting. There are parallels here to the Sasuke archetype found in shonen manga. Blackie is also an outstanding character, and I loved how he served as a mentor figure to Chi, trying his best to keep her out of trouble. The Yamada family is fantastic too. I enjoy how the father attempts to play with Chi but often gets ignored, creating a delightful and amusing dynamic. Yohei's relationship with Chi is heartwarming as well; despite occasional arguments, their reconciliations are always touching. Chi's interactions with the mother are equally adorable, such as when the mother tries to vacuum but Chi refuses to move. Overall, the series is filled with charm. As for Chi herself, she is just irresistibly cute! The way she speaks in baby talk in the English translation is incredibly endearing, and her mannerisms are delightful. Her little sounds, like "Mrr?" or "Mee!", add to her charm. While Chi is a mostly static character, her interactions make up for it.

I could continue endlessly about how cute Chi's Sweet Home is, but I've already used the words "cute" and "adorable" countless times. I rate CSH a 10/10 for enjoyment because I can't help but smile while reading Chi's delightful adventures. It's a serene read that progresses quickly despite the number of chapters, and I highly recommend it to cat enthusiasts and owners alike. <p>

Chi's Sweet Home was the first manga I ever read. At that time, I didn't even know what manga was; I just thought it was a cute comic. I got hooked on the series right away and finished the entire thing in a very short period. Every time I finished a volume, I couldn't wait to go back to the library to get the next one. Because of this, it holds a very special place in my heart.

There's so much to love about this series. It's simple and sweet, following the story of a kitten who gets adopted and showing life from a cat's perspective. The characters are incredibly lovable and charming, and the artwork is cute without being overbearing. Overall, I truly enjoyed reading it and always enjoy revisiting the series.

If you're looking for something short and sweet to read, this is a great choice. It will definitely bring a smile to your face.
