A very entertaining novel, with a good world building environment. I personally like the idea of being transported to a semi real virtual reality tower and being able to keep your stat and equipment gained into the outside world. Overall a good novel worth the read.
Read every available chapter before priviledge since itβs the end of the month. Iβve enjoyed the story so far. Good world building, pace, setting and i quite like the character of the mc. Friendly, cautious, intelligent and ruthless when it comes to people doing him harm or trying to swindle money out of him. His mental gymnastics, especially when it comes to people owing him money, whether they actually do or not, is hilarious. A 10k debt from his best friend is suddenly 16k then 10 mil. Honestly, even loan sharks would be appalled from his undisguised greed π¬ I can see myself reading another 1000 chapters if this novel and not feeling bored. Great job so far, Author. Keep it up!
Great novel. Despite the privilege chapters cost 2k coins, I purchased it. In one day read all the written chapters. A great novel to kill time. No Chinese cliches and the Mc is so likable.

This is an admirable attempt at writing a comedic, tower-challenge super powers story. Unfortunately, I couldn't push through to the end of the currently published chapters.
What I did like was the Eye of Truth. It behaved like a wise-cracking, sentient AI that gave me a few chuckles in an otherwise bland story. However, its absolutely broken abilities, that expand as the story goes on, made it hard to take this story seriously.
The quality of the writing is readable but unimpressive. The world building is very bare-bones. There is very little description of anything (characters, places, etc). There is no twist or unique aspect that separates this tower novel from the others on this platform.
Ultimately, if you read this as a parody of the genre, and all of the derivative, copy-cat SSS (insert power) Tower webnovels, this can be considered somewhat amusing. But from the 30 or so chapters I read, it's not worth the time.
I'm on chapter 5 and the writing quality and grammar is really putting me off. First 2 chapters used last tense and suddenly, mid chapter, author switches to present tense, making it very uncomfortable to read. Are the chapters pending for editing? Since the novel is in top 2 now, hope the author or the editor cleans up the earlier chapters.
I will continue reading to see if there is any tradeoff and will update the review accordingly.

The MC doesn't seem anything special. Maybe he will have character growth but boosting his Luck stat and giving him OP starting items seems very gimmicky since he already got a SSS grade talent.
