Damian Cross, a young man in his late 20s. Once hailed as a child prodigy, currently the Director of New York Central Health with a Ph.D. in Neurosurgery. Successful; that\'s what comes to mind when one hears of him, but... is that all there is to know? Of course not. Here is a creature devoid of any human emotion and ambition in the shell of a man. Hiding in that shell is complete darkness. An emptiness that seems to swallow every and anything it comes in contact with.
It was that emptiness that led Damian to answer that message on his phone that day. The day the end of the world began. The message, sent by one who goes by the name \'TheGingerbreadFriend\', read:

“I will grant you one wish.”

You know what they say, be careful what you wish for.
Because of his wish, the world is plunged into total chaos in a matter of seconds as extra-terrestrial creatures (Demons) invade earth, and humans, old or young, male or female are told to partake in the 12 phases of the Apocalypse.
That wish of his? To simply return home.
Now Damian will face demonic invaders from an unknown realm as countless mysteries unfold. Despite bringing about the end of humanity, he is merely a cog in the machinations of fate alongside the wheels of time.

Welp. since no one wants to give me a review. Read novel has many mysteries and hidden details so if you don't understand smth you'll most likely see and answer in a later chapter.I'll give a genuine review of my own novel when I'm above 100 chapters I guess.

Your story is interesting, great background and plot, i think your Mc is really nice too, yes, it has one and two grammatical errors, but that is normal, i expect to see more chaps and you did a great job overall amazing story.

    Writing quality - 3 stars
No obvious grammar mistakes... but the vocabulary is lackluster and monotonous... sentence structure is poor because it feels like reading a diary
(also author repeats mc name almost every paragraph and it is annoying)

    Update stability - 3 stars
    I'm neutral

    Story development - 3 stars
The pacing is good... events flow in a logical manner ... but there is no suspense, no mystery (story is too predictable and scenes are too lukewarm)

    Character design - 2 stars
Characters are generic having atmost two traits with nothing more to them and only mc changes... but the mc's change is contrary to his personality
(mc will go from callous to wishy-washy to depressed to determined in a span of three paragraphs...he is more emo than sasuke)

    World background - 2 star
Rarely is a place named... there is almost no description of places... the rest is just like the real world with no creativity
(there is no immersion when i can't mentally picture the setting)

It is an interesting read at first but it quickly loses its momentum... the protagonist is dull, the setting is hard to imagine and the plot is far too obvious

Good to read once in a while to pass time but otherwise...
