I’m a Doorman at an Assassin’s Hotel

Back then, I was fresh out of a job and struggling financially, barely able to make ends meet. My wallet held only a few crumpled bills that seemed to mock my situation. That's when I stumbled upon a job advertisement for a hotel doorman, promising high pay, effortless work, free meals, and accommodations – it sounded too good to be true. I was filled with enthusiasm, thinking that being a doorman would be a piece of cake – simply standing at the entrance, welcoming guests. However, my first day shattered any illusions I had. The clientele was nothing like I expected. Each guest appeared more intimidating than the last – some sported leather attire with visible daggers, others sauntered in with dark sunglasses and hats pulled low, and one individual even carried a black bag, carelessly revealing shell casings as he walked. And then there was the mysterious figure donning a hockey mask and drenched in blood – it was a surreal and unsettling scene.
