Despite the occational slip-up of characters' name, this is actually quite good, unlike the other review said. To begin with, mc is not a chosen one reliant on system to become stronk (lmao), well there's no system at all in the first place, and that's a good thing. 2 much systems these days, the chinese need system 4 everything, like gaming, farming, hunting, seducing, learning, fishing, vampiring, dragoning, necromancing, blacksmithing, enchanting, cooking, picking stats, signing in, etc.

Whoops that went sideway. Anyway i'm only @ chapter 11 now, this story has good pacing, not 2 fast and not 2 slow. The structure explained nicely without shoehorning useless trivias and explanation, well you know, like those novels with 10 thousand words but hollow story because author want to fill word count quota. The kind of author who spend a chapter just to explain in detail every logic and circumstances behind mc action, like how smart he is, how other ppl don't notice what he notice. Really makes you think how low iq they think their readers are lmao.

There are rpg stats and jobs in this, but so far i've read it's fair, the otherworder gain stats according their nature and action, yes that means anyone can become dual or triple jobber according to their stats and skill sets, but there's a caveat, level wont ever raise if the people not raising their respective jobs, as in a mage will stuck in level 1 even if their str/dex/agi high as fuck, and staying at level 1 has no advantage because your skill slot is limited. Even though the HP can raise from pyshical training, other person with more skill slot and more focused spec will blast your ass. That's why i think the rpg stats are more fair then system thing (the fuck i'm saying, of course system user has no fairness lmao).

Well try it yourself, maybe you can like it.

The character portrayal in this manga truly deserves applause, yet beyond that, there's little else to commend. The heroine remains perpetually in chibi form, which is undeniably cute but veers into the realm of the unrealistic. The hero, while not particularly dashing, is passable. There's minimal character growth paired with a weak plot and virtually nonexistent dialogue.

What does manage to catch attention are the myriad expressions Sakura displays, along with the manga's distinctively personal sketchbook vibe, as if it were drawn during a tedious calculus class. However, that's essentially all this manga has going for it. The mangaka crafted an engaging concept of "manga within manga" and portrayed herself as an ever-excitable chibi, but this can become grating for more mature readers over time. The intimate moments, mostly straightforward kisses, failed to evoke excitement or butterflies—unlike, say, *Zettai Kareshi*. Predictable plot devices such as misunderstandings, bullying, heroic rescues, waking up in his bed, and jealousy are scattered throughout but contribute little to the overall experience.

I'll do it quickly: I enjoy shojo mangas, but this one is far too predictable. There's nothing new about it; the story is essentially the same as the last 1000 shojo mangas I've read. The art is average, and the characters lack any uniqueness or special qualities.

I'm giving it a 6 across the board because, despite its lack of originality, there are still those cute shojo moments that we all appreciate in some way or another.

So, if you're really bored and can't find anything else to do, this manga might just pass the time for you a little.

Yeah, the story may not be incredibly original, and the art wasn't absolutely amazing, but it was still quite good and didn't take away from the narrative. I truly enjoyed reading this, particularly the final chapter and the extra that came after. It was adorable and very lighthearted. I would recommend it to anyone looking for something light and quick to read. I even saved parts of it on my laptop. The extra at the end is what makes it a 10 for me—it's so cute!!

I absolutely loved this manga! It's a simple, charming, and concise story. The manga doesn't drag on with unnecessary filler; it's just pure cuteness and wholesomeness. The artwork is stunning as well. There isn't much more to say—it delivers exactly what it promises. I appreciated the depth added to Rena through her feelings for Tomoya (almost slipped a spoiler there!). However, I was a bit disappointed that the side characters and rivals didn't get more development due to the manga's brevity—they felt like they were there just to fill space. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed it! If you have the time to sit down and read two volumes for a gentle romance, this will definitely fit the bill. It's obviously not for those who aren't big fans of the genre.

Additionally, there are no aggressive, abusive, or toxic elements often found in similar manga—I was genuinely thrilled about that.

Overall, it was fantastic! A delightful experience with a beautiful early 2000s art style. I would gladly revisit it if I needed a quick, wholesome pick-me-up.

'Fall in love like a comic' is entertaining because it revolves around the life of a mangaka. However, upon closer inspection, it turns out to be a weak story. There's no proper conclusion, and the romantic scenes leave much to be desired. The one redeeming quality is the artwork; I genuinely appreciate the illustrations. It's a straightforward story suitable for a single read, but I can't wholeheartedly recommend it. The enjoyment it offers stems solely from the stereotypical characters.
