While I sadly skippety skippety skipped all the steamy stuff, the non-steamy parts showcased that the author knows what they are doing. Excellent style. I would legit say that the horrifyingly striking beginning is one of the best I have read in a while. There is nothing I would change about the language, even though the genre is not my thing. I would say that the pacing and the absolute gut punch of a beginning should be enough to convince any reader.
I've read the raw for this story and trust me, it's good. If you're not looking for the cliches, this is it. Don't miss out. If I'm to describe it, it's like... an episodic mystery novel with gaming elements. Also this title has been sitting atop the CN Qidian's modern genre ranking for months now, so even if you don't believe me, believe the taste of millions of chinese readers.

Our MC, Feng Bujue, has an unknown psychological disorder that caused him to not feel fear; he bought the game in order to know whether he can return his fear after playing the different scenarios in the game. However, it doesn't end at that. As Feng Bujue goes deeper and deeper into the game, it seems that the game isn't just a "game". More mysteries eventually presents themselves, which will, in turn, slowly be uncovered by Feng Bujue and co.**: There might be a romance. Not sure, I'm not too far ahead in the novel.
This novel is ok as at chapter 103, the world background was ok,the story is good. But...There is alot of problems with the writing quality, alot of errors with the writing plus the story lacks detail in a lot of ways either with the quests, classes, equipments and even the story plots. For instance how long did the tutorial last. MC made a comment to the new initiates dying of thirst in the early chapters but we never saw this happen. The quest for water was a total flop, the group went out once and that was it no further updates. Though I assume it was a failure but after that was another plot and then the end.In shot Author needs to develop story better - more details.
The grammars are okay, easy enough to understand the storyline, which actually okay for this kind of genre, though it's not the usual one I would like to read. Not that fast pacing, but going into that direction
