    This novel was a delightful read from start to finish! It provided an insightful journey into both ancient Chinese history and archaeology. The main characters, Qin Cheng and Su Jingmo, were exceptional - their unwavering determination to be together despite numerous obstacles was incredibly heartwarming. I couldn't put it down; I devoured this book in a week straight, a testament to its engaging quality. It left me thinking long after I completed it – a true standout. I especially appreciated the bonus content, like the touching scene where Su Jingmo reunites with her old friend's reincarnation,唤起他们前世的友情记忆, even after all these years and lives. Highly recommended for those who enjoy thrilling narratives, emotional love stories, and dedicated heroes. A solid five-star read for me.

The rollercoaster of emotions it evokes is truly exhilarating. The main character's unwavering loyalty to their love interest across 12 lives is both heart-wrenching and awe-inspiring. What sets this story apart is that it subverts the typical power dynamic - instead of the seme (dominant) protecting the uke (submissive), the uke holds a significant level of strength, turning the conventional dynamic on its head.

    I absolutely adored the story; the characters were so well-developed that I felt fully immersed. The world-building and plot were exceptional, and the characterizations were top-notch. Although I had a special fondness for the main character (MC), I couldn't deny my love for the other lead. I experienced the depth of his emotions - his love, grief, sadness, and longing - and every aspect of his personality resonated with me. The journey was truly a rollercoaster of emotions, and I found myself shedding tears along with the MC's heartache. It was incredibly relatable and impactful, as the descriptions of his feelings struck a chord deep within. The MC has become one of my all-time favorites, a lovable and passionate figure.

    I can hardly believe I read through the untranslated text and attempted to decipher some challenging words. This story is truly breathtakingly beautiful! I am grateful to the translator for discovering such a gem, and equally appreciative of the author's creation. If you share my love for stories filled with unconditional love, this one is a must-read. Qin Cheng's love is so profound; his devotion to Su Jingmo is so intense that he would even die for her. It tugs at my heartstrings and leaves me deeply moved.

    Now that I've finished, a subtle ache lingers within me, unsure of how to proceed without this tale. I'll surely miss Qin Cheng and Su JingMo – their interactions and their love story. Trust me, once you dive in, you won't regret it.

    I truly appreciate this novel; it stands out as one of the well-crafted BL books. The translator has done an commendable job with the translation. However, the translator's comments at the end detracted from my reading experience, which is why I deducted one star. Normally, I wouldn't mind annotations, but these often blend seamlessly into the text, causing confusion when I accidentally read them, which left a negative impression. It would be helpful if the comments were clearly labeled as "translator notes" so I could decide whether to read them or not.
