College Freshman Chu Tian suddenly obtained a special ability – his body would automatically transform according to the comments made by others.
Deskmate Yang Rong: “Hehe, it’s truly great to have an expert hacker as my deskmate.”
Chu Tian whose knowledge in computers was limited to installing operating systems became a super expert hacker in an instant.
A random female student: “Sigh, if only my boyfriend is built like a model.”
Happening to pass by that female student, Chu Tian’s body started to transform. In a flash, he became a handsome model of a man.
The prettiest girl in school: “Chu Tian, do you know how to play basketball?”
When Chu Tian was about to say he doesn’t, a boundless amount of basketball knowledge assailed his head and transformed him into a slam dunk king.
In less than a year, Chu Tian looked to himself in the mirror and sighed, “Sigh, I beg you all, please shut up.”

Overall, it serves as a decent representation of its genre (modern Chinese wish-fulfillment tale), but the wasted potential of turning the initial concept into a superficial, stereotypical story about a perfect male model is regrettable.
"Well, you've certainly proven yourself as an excellent translator by getting past the paywall! The writing remains fairly light and casual, akin to a slice-of-life style. However, considering the author's decision to make content behind the C70 paywall, I gather that the titles from C500++ onwards might delve into a more intense narrative. Let's hope it stays true to its core essence."
However, my main issue lies with the translation quality which significantly deteriorates after Chapter 100. It's evident that a different translator took over, possibly relying on machine translation, which drastically affects the readability. "Fantasy World Online" is already known for subpar translations, but this particular work stands out as particularly poor, making me seriously consider dropping it.
Positive aspects:
1. The writing is commendable, with a coherent plot and relatable characters, despite the magical elements.
2. The main character (MC) functions adequately as an overpowered protagonist, albeit with some clichéd traits.
Negative points:
1. The premise lacks explanation and seems absurd; while it's central to the story, constant avoidance of delving into its logic starts to erode my interest.
2. The MC's attitude can come across as overly convenient, typical of "Gary Stu" narratives.
3. Mixing a potential harem theme with a protagonist who stubbornly resists romantic advances feels disjointed. It's unclear why the author chose this combination.
Unique elements:
1. The inclusion of computer hacking with a well-developed backstory adds an unexpected twist.
2. The basketball aspect is still up in the air – it remains to be seen if it will contribute meaningfully to the story.
In summary, the story provides a decent distraction, with light and easily digestible content. While there's a balance between enjoyable moments and absurdity, time will tell if it evolves into something more substantial.
Each of the character's abilities is utilized effectively, not just in isolated instances, as some readers have suggested, with basketball skills being a notable exception. Enhanced physics and the 'Deadpool' ability, in particular, play crucial roles in combating supernatural beings, while hacking enables the protagonist to employ innovative tactics like homing rockets for their eradication efforts. Critics might initially find the fantasy aspect mundane or silly, but as the story deepens and the mysteries unfold, it becomes increasingly captivating.
In conclusion, dismissing the seemingly 'useless' abilities is unwarranted, as they serve a purpose in the narrative progression. Highly recommended for those who can overlook the initial奇幻 elements and dive into the engaging plot.
The MC, despite having a girlfriend, continues to flirt with another woman, Li sister, which goes beyond mere flirting. The justification for this infidelity is often portrayed as the girlfriend's inadequacy, suggesting she fails to meet his needs. It would be more reasonable if their relationship were not officially defined.
Furthermore, the story falls into the cliché of a low-key hero, facing unnecessary scrutiny like when accused of theft for purchasing a necklace worth 19 million yuan. He initially lies about its price, putting both himself and others at risk. This kind of excessive display of wealth and power in urban genre narratives often feels more engaging than this instance, where the MC is unable to provide for his girlfriend properly.
If you're looking for something light and have limited reading options, this might be suitable. However, if you have a variety of other appealing titles, I'd recommend those instead. Overall, my rating would be 2 out of 5.
