The novel is alright, I guess, but it becomes dreadfully monotonous at an alarming pace. Up until now, the story primarily revolves around the protagonist's creative process as he writes his book and the subsequent reactions from the world. The second thread focuses on his mundane daily life, which rapidly turns into encounters with clichéd love interests. It's a leisurely read, without any major apocalyptic threats in sight. However, I found myself losing interest in the main character rather swiftly.

The series appears to be a harem-themed teenage fantasy, but unfortunately, it fails to deliver as promised. Despite its high rating, I found myself extremely disappointed. The focus shifts away from the author's supposedly captivating novels, with excessive chapters devoted to sexual content and mundane daily life. The characters lack depth and the excessive number of girls, along with cringe-inducing elements, detract from the story.

Out of 117 chapters, only five were dedicated to the main plot, which initially held great potential. It seems the author abandoned the primary storyline to excessively describe his "dagger" obsession. As someone who enjoys exploring parallel worlds with adaptations of novels, manga, anime, and movies, I'm usually forgiving of such aspects. However, this particular work fell flat for me due to its lack of substance and poor execution.

The smutty content begins at Chapter 111 in the original source, and it's alright, as it's brought to you by the <em>gay</em> perspective. Apart from that, the story about a reincarnated writer is quite captivating. The main character isn't dense; they're just unfamiliar with certain aspects of this new world, like casually mentioning "<em>having ramen in my room, wink wink</em>." The story features numerous fan-crazy scenarios where virtually everyone on Earth is an avid fan of the protagonist's work, resulting in extraordinary fame. Imagine if Romeo and Juliet were that well-known – that's how renowned the MC's creations are, mixed with elements of the Bible and sacred texts, along with a touch of engineering. Not being a fan can be seen as a red flag, unless the character is female (speculation due to the harem genre). Initially, the narrative appears to be a lighthearted joke about the absurd reactions to the MC's novel, but the plot gradually deepens, allowing readers to appreciate its evolving complexity.

I absolutely adore this novel! As an avid reader who keeps up with RAW (assuming it's an abbreviation for "raw content"), I must say that the storyline has consistently met my expectations thus far. The plot revolves around a novelist who重生在这个新世界, and through his literary prowess, he transforms society. What sets this apart is the MC's harem, which, unlike many others that fail to develop, actually crosses significant boundaries and includes mature scenes (R-18).

Regrettably, I am forced to give this novel a mere 2-star rating, as it falls far below expectations. It astonishes me how it has garnered 4 stars, considering the author seems to lack even the basic effort to make the narrative engaging. The writing lacks depth and creativity, offering no compelling introductions for characters or the setting, leaving readers uninterested in investing emotionally.

From the very first chapters, it becomes evident that the main character – and even his reincarnation – remain poorly developed. There's no clear background on his parents or the world he was reincarnated into. The story abruptly shifts between discussing the poor quality of fictional novels and the sudden success of the protagonist's own masterpiece. The author appears to neglect crafting a coherent journey for the reader to connect with, despite the premise being "An Author in Another World."

In conclusion, the time and effort put into writing this work are severely lacking, and I would advise readers to spare themselves the disappointment.

Honestly, I found the reactions to MC's book release and the subsequent absurdity in the public more entertaining than the actual slice of life narrative. It reminds me of the Tarrot Club scenes in 'Lord of the Mysteries,' where the discussions revolve around the main plot and highlight the reactions of the supporting characters to the MC's outlandishness.

As numerous other novels were drawing to a close (such as "Kidnapped Dragons" and others), I sought a captivating and immersive story to dive into. This particular book delivers precisely that! I appreciate how well the protagonist's trials unfold, never feeling overly overpowering or excessively dramatic. The novel excels at weaving intricate relationships, and I wholeheartedly recommend it as a standout addition to any reader's collection.
