I honestly had high hopes, but ultimately was met with the same disappointment. the first 50 chapters were very fun to read, but it soon got boring and frustrating. Why endure ridicule from people lower than you and let yourself and your wife be abused mentally and physically because of a stupid MC trying to keep his pitiful attempts to stay low-key... Honestly even the people are so stupid. they can't even connect the dots when they have the same last name, so much for so many coincidence!if MC really loved and trusted his wife, then he'd confess the truth soon after he got permission to make debut to the world... but no, the author dragged it out to the point of killing readers with boredoms, fury, and frustration...ππ
The translators have done a great job for this story. The protagonist collects monsters to fight, but the story doesn't purely focus on that. He nurtures the the creatures, called "sprites," into powerful companions. What I thoroughly enjoy is that the story emphasizes the companion aspect more with the sprites's personalities being shown and developed. Obviously they are extra powerful, as the MC has a cheat system, but they aren't the "super rare once in a lifetime starter creatures that can even beat higher tiered beasts from birth" sort of deal. They need to be built up from the beginning like everyone else. I also enjoy the new world that the MC finds himself in. It's a modern world, but with the introduction of sprites that populate it. It gives ot a realistic feel tgat most power controlled worlds in stories don't have. It makes it interesting to read instead of a rewash of other stories. I really hope that it gets picked.
FL is too pitiful and the system is too much of an a**hole for my liking π. Also, it gets old pretty quickly how quickly the FL gives into lust so quickly. Losing your V-card doesn't turn you into a nymphomaniac lol π£! The author (and descriptive erotic scenes πππ) is great, but the FL is just not relatable and doesn't act anywhere near realistically causing a lack of reader investment. If this story was re-edited with the FL having a bit more backbone and the system being much less of an unlikable d-bag, I'd be able to get into it.
Various sovereign states with different races declared war to their enemies. Valiant and earnest soldiers threw their lives away for honor and fighting for their respective sovereign states relentlessly. The land became desolated and ravaged by war. Newly recruited infantries β that were mostly untrained peasants β sent to the battlefield. Countless living souls perished. No one became victorious on this war.
