In the year 2024, Hayate sato was a 20 year old japanese man and also a dedicated player of the popular fantasy MMORPG game "Hollow." After a late-night gaming session, he closed his eyes and unexpectedly woke up not in his bedroom, but in the body of his beloved in-game avatar, standing in the middle of a vast and desolate wasteland.
With no clear explanation for what had happened or how he had gotten there, and being stuck decades into the future with no way to get back, he must rely on himself to survive in this world armed with the ability to use magic.
