The two brothers never get along since they were born, their father died, and because of that the two were after the throne. Since Samuel was the eldest he was the next king, but then Caesar took the crown and became king, of course he must have done such foul play to obtain the throne. so now Samuel made a rebellion and divided the kingdom in half.
