Haven't read this novel yet so I'll go for some neutral rating. The synopsis actually seems interesting enough, combined with its genre as a modern wuxia novel and the seemingly trouble-inducing type of main character, I'm willing to bet that this novel will be fun to read. I'll just vote this so that it might be published at a faster rate. Good job to the translator and thanks for the hard work! 😄
Here it is the author! A shameless review.This novel belongs to the series called The Criminals. And it is obvious because of the name. Anyway, this story it will totally different from the first one because this plot it is happening on the Sapphire Island, an artificial island were a prison and a small village it is located. Now, this artificial islands it is completely different from Ruby City and Garnet City because of the two things mentioned earlier.On this series you will meet Lenard, together with a new Rodriguez, and two new characters, Henry and Abou. Now these people are here for different reason, but they have the same goal, get stronger to survive or try your luck to escape this place.
From the 4 books added to the trial this week this one is the best, you can except a primitive world with a unique power system + a MC how thinks like a normal person rational person not somebody full of hormones and heroic spirit with the first thought being to teach primitive people that slavery is not right!!! Beside some weird sounding sentences that could have been better everything is good.
I'm more of a fantasy reader, but this novel is amazing! It's really new so there's still character and world-building to be stablished, but so far they are all interesting and discovering the different sides of the MC and other characters as you go is really fun. Can't wait to see more of them, how they survive the apocalyse and unveil the many mysteries surrounding them.P.S. Lou and Kim best characters (totally not biased opinion)
A nice start to a part of the characters development, I like how the author depicts the difficulty, and how even the protagonist must put in the concerted effort to move forward in his own progress.
