The craziest thing Qiao Hui has ever done in her life was to marry Xu Yiyang, the righteous Film Emperor, at the age of 21.

Life after marriage is plain and boring. Mr. Xu will kiss her good morning and good night every day and will report to her from time to time when going out for filming.

But even in the most intimate times, his kiss was gentle and restrained.

Qiao Hui shared her feelings to her friend, “He spoils me as if he is spoiling his daughter.” In the end, it was still a little bit worse.

On the day Xu Yiyang’s new drama hit, he and the drama’s female protagonists were in the midst of the scandal; and countless CP(Couple) fans rejoiced all night.

Qiao Hui sat cross-legged on the bed, and after considering it again and again; she asked for a separation.

That same night, Xu Yiyang risked the violent stormy weather and rushed back home from where he was filming. His body was soaked and his eyes were flushed with rain.

“Why?”, shouted Xu Yiyang.

The girl was wearing pink bear pajamas and with a serious face said, “The gap between us is too wide No one will think we are as suitable as I think we are.”

The next day, a photo hit the hot search.

In the empty streets, [ the charming and self-assured Film Emperor embraced his newlywed wife and kissed her passionately.]

Short fluffy story. A good read if you're looking for something sweet and brief.

It's cute and all, but as many reviews have pointed out, there are too many plot holes that don’t make sense.

A flash marriage with someone you just met? Okay, I can buy that plot because it’s common in a lot of Chinese webnovels.

But a deeply in love, devoted, borderline obsessed guy after they’ve only met a couple of times with minimal interaction? Yeah, right.

It’s mentioned that they met once before the time the main character remembers, but so what? Their interactions were still so minimal. It would have made more sense if he was just attracted to her or obsessed with her appearance, but no, he had to say "I love you" a few days after their marriage, when they had only met 2-3 times before getting married.

Psh. So unrealistic and ridiculous. I doubt the author has any real romantic experience.

Very cute and straightforward! It focuses on the couple and moves at a super fast pace. I love the fluff. There's not much drama or conflict, which makes it a breeze to read.

The novel is incredibly satisfying to read if you love fluff and no heavy drama. The so-called antagonists realize their flaws and mistakes in life. This novel is really all about Xu Xiyan and Qiao Hui showering us readers with copious amounts of sweetness.

This is really sweet; I’d rate it 4.5/5. However, there are some unresolved issues or a lack of further explanation that slightly affect my rating.

    1. The flash marriage. As someone not familiar with Chinese culture, I find it quite unusual, especially since ML mentioned that their meeting in the forest wasn’t the first time they met. There’s no additional information provided about their relationship history.

The little brother hinted at a backstory, but I haven’t seen it yet. Hopefully, it’s covered in the extras. (I’ve read up to chapter 68.)

    2. I can relate to the father issue, but I was hoping for a bit more context. For example, it would have been nice to know explicitly that she became financially independent, like receiving her team’s paycheck on her own. This is just a minor observation.

, there are relatively few conflicts, which makes this a sweet and enjoyable story.

This is so sweet! As others have mentioned, it’s just too cute. Our protagonists are definitely feeding us some fluff. Take this novel with a light heart; it’s perfect for anyone looking for a dose of cuteness and tired of heavy, dramatic stories. , it’s short but incredibly charming.

It's a short and sweet story, full of fluff and minimal drama. Perfect for when you're craving something sugary and light.

There were a few parts that felt incomplete, as though some details were missing. Specifically, the main lead (ML) and main character (MC) seem to have met years before, but the story doesn't show their actual first encounter. The MC's remembered "first meeting" isn't actually their first time crossing paths. Unfortunately, we never learn about their initial encounter or why the ML is so deeply in love with the MC.

, it's a brief and simple love story that’s guaranteed to give you a sweet tooth.
