I walked around aimlessly for five minutes, looking around corners and calling out her name. Several other students stopped and stared at me like I was stupid while I was doing this, but I didn't care. It's not like they knew the reason I was out here looking for someone named Jess in the first place.

"I would like you to get shopping done for me this weekend, I'm gonna be out of town so there should be money in the kitchen."

In that moment, she caved to the exhaust of her body.

" Guys stop it's not gonna happen"

   the voice said softly and inviting. Yet its tone failed to hide the hostility Sigmund had sensed. Sigmund started to pant harder, his steps accelerating to almost a run. Yet as he ran to the direction he knew nothing of, the voice calling to him started to grow louder. He immediately decided to run opposite the direction where the voice came from. He started running faster, catching his breath with every stride of his steps. He never felt so in danger, so exposed and so vulnerable in all his life knowing he is in the same place with someone whose voice he has never heard before. Yet as he was increasingly frightened, the stranger started to feel more familiar to him, as if he had met him a long time ago, in the same situation. Scared and running for his life.

Chapter one might have been a little confusing at first but it got better and better I guess, overall great writing👍💪

This is the first web novel I read, and it seems good.I really liked the idea of the mc acting like an NPC and a player at the same time.I think you can talk a bit more about the mc since we don't know who he is. Though you mentioned some of his character through internal dialogue, we don't even know how he looks. That is why I had to give 4.8 to your character design.Apart from that, I am confused about something. The story has a lot of magus characters and you are saying they are a race, but which race? Are they human?
