First 600 chapters tell a fantastic story. Good pacing with character and world developments. On the other hand, once you get to 1000+ It’s dragging on the story like a massive blue ball.Seems almost most like the author doesn’t want to progress anymore or the vision for the novel just nose dived into the abyss. For example, if there’s 6 enemies. There will be a chapter for each enemy. The fight is pretty much filler at this point. No need for 6 enemies to have a chapter and a half each. The fight has nothing related to drive the story forward, they’re just fodder enemy. You won’t remember them later and the story never talks about them again. It’s like ready an essay where they’re just filling in for word count. Lastly, it’s been over 1000 chapters and he “STILL” hasn’t reached god hood yet. He’s been on the lower plane for more than 1200 chapters now. The story is super slow pace at this point. Started off good but now it’s just crawling by. Probably another few hundred more years until he reaches the next level. BTW im currently 1226. He should’ve gone to the immortal lands after he absorbed all those raw laws and banished King Elbas.

The way of writing is quite beautiful . The universal truth that the things we despise are sometimes useful to us and find a way back in our lives . Read the few chapters and directly came here to review . So please follow this book !!

But it is most definitely his most beautiful work till date. So much so that I would rank it just below Mao ni's nightfall and I Am Ink's grasping evil.This novel has transcended the bounds of xianxia, just like my former mentions. It is emotionally verbose to a very magnitude.Some of the underlying philosophies are such that each of us might relate to it some extent. Agreed,  that this novel is not without er gen's use of his typical plot devices and grand scale deus ex machina, some of which might even be considered cliché, but nonetheless, it is a stellar novel. With a mind blowing world building, super emo characters and er gen's standard 'screw the heavens' tone of the protag throughout the story, this should be a definite read for the enlightened readers looking for something meaty, especially if you're looking for grit in a xianxia which is rarer than a blue moon

read three chapters and all three were awful. I already know i can't handle the MC and it's unlikely he's going to change much especially considering how the prologue introduced from his point of view, the story. the FMC is fine and would probably be better if it was from her perspective. going to read a few more but so far everything that's been written that I have read is just what seems to be 2/3rds random thoughts of his and then the other 1/3 him being a failure/trying to be a side character. maybe it's just preference that I always hate novels that decide to have a MC have side character syndrome.

I absolutely love this novel. It is probably my favorite Webnovel I have ever read, and I have read a TON of books like these, but never found something that fits my taste as much as this one. And no, I am not lying or whatever, I have been searching for a good novel for about half a year now, and oh my, thank you for making this book. All I would like to say, is I hope their will not be any romance, and definitely no harem. I would stop reading this and will definitely be very upset, like really. I will definitely continue to try and stay as the top contributor for now, and will try my best to spend all my coins and will try to gift the author my power stones. So please, author, if you are reading this it would mean everything to me if you were to put your best effort into this, for me and the others reading this book. We truly appreciate all the little things you add to this to make our experiences better. And of course, I will say it again, I would love no romance, but if you really want to, like really, really badly, then make it actually proper, and don’t let it effect the story too much.
