This is one of the better divorce stories I've come across. The ex-husband is an unpleasant individual, with a consistent pattern of abuse rather than a sudden realization of his wrongdoings. The main character (MC) faces harassment from him, forcing her to seek protection due to societal pressures that label her as the villain for wanting a divorce from a cheating spouse. Enter the male lead (ML), a principled man with a tragic background. They meet when he rescues her from her ex's harassment, and he uses his influence to help her get taken seriously by the authorities. This leads to her considering remarriage, and surprisingly, the ML exhibits a romantic side that I haven't encountered in a romance story in a while.

What stands out is the deviation from typical tropes - the MC usually protects the innocent ML, but here, she's the wealthy stepmother showering gifts on her new stepson, while the ML has a child. The roles are reversed, and MC falls in love first. My only gripe is the cover art and the depiction of the main couple; I've moved past the allure of white-haired characters, and the stereotypical pretty blonde MC doesn't particularly appeal to me. Fortunately, the narrative doesn't dwell on their physical appearances much.

Great start! The protagonist uncovered her husband's unfaithfulness, and rather than wallowing in despair, she has decided to seek a divorce. Reflecting on her past naivety, she's embracing personal growth. She's a formidable character who doesn't require a reliance on regression or isekai-themed power-ups. The translation is exceptional, and I sincerely hope this story continues without falling by the wayside.

Since the translator mentioned translating the novel on a weekly basis or as she recalls, it seems like there's a possibility that the story might not progress steadily, which could lead to abandonment 😔. The plot doesn't seem particularly engaging, perhaps because it feels too familiar from other reads. However, I must admit, the beginning was promising. The female lead (FL) isn't an Isakie or regressed character; she's relatable, having fallen for a womanizer, got married, and then divorced.

The male lead (ML) isn't her ex-husband, as established in Chapter 1. Following their split, the ex-husband seeks reconciliation, leaving the FL with no choice but to look for a suitable business partner, such as Duke Roberto. In fact, there's still potential for this novel if the chapters accumulate. I might come back later to satisfy my curiosity when more content is available.

I absolutely adore this! The female lead (FL) handles the situation maturely and doesn't wallow in self-pity or constantly dwell on her ex-husband's unfaithfulness. And on top of that, the male lead (ML) is just adorable! It's important to clarify that the ML is not the ex-husband.
