This one is wierd. The plot turns and inconsistencies of the MCs life decisions and personality really weirded me out. There are a lot of plot holes that were patched up with illogical and ill fitted reasons and solutions.
Was looking forward to Xiao Yan and Lin Dong meeting in this third book in the trilogy. Those two sort of working together solving their issues as they were left in book 1 and 2. Instead we get a new MC chasing another overpowered girlie. Is that all this author can come up with, rinse and repeat? How about truly finishing a story, instead of starting a whole new one? Gave this book a chance by reading close to 300 chapters and strangely enough the more i read the more crappier this story becomes. Very disappointing to say the least
10 stone to unlock 1 chapter....wow! Translators are too greedy. Let a boycott this novel. No.1 rank novelonly require 4 stones. To think they dare to charge more than 2 times is ridicilous.
It seems to have a good start, with a System that, for now, serves no purpose other than showing the MC's progress (at least from the explanation given in chapter 5). There’s an interesting idea about the banquet, where it’s not just for socializing with nobles and recruiting talents, but we might actually see real duels (which will definitely happen, since this unique characteristic of the banquet was mentioned). So, I'm very curious to see how it will continue and how the duels will unfold.
