It was only after You Mian died that he found out he was actually a cannon fodder and a fake young master in a shura field, pure love text.

It was his established destiny to be disliked by everyone and regarded as the stand-in for the true young master, Bai Lin.

You Mian originally thought that Yan Tingxuan, who he grew up with since childhood, would be the only exception. He didn’t expect that not only Yan Tingxuan, but all his other friends, would stand behind Bai Lin and become Bai Lin’s support.

You Mian became indifferent and emotionless in his previous life. However, he was the one who occupied Bai Lin’s rich life after all. Therefore, he endured all these changes.

Then once the fire broke out, he discovered that being adopted by the You family was actually a conspiracy. It was all a trade-off to protect Bai Lin.

No wonder why he was kidnapped countless times since he was a child, and his father remained indifferent. No wonder why Bai Lin was ‘retrieved’ immediately after his coming-of-age, and the You family was happy but not too surprised.

Those friends who approached him were all just fighting for Bai Lin.

Just as all the dust settled and there were no longer any waves in You Mian’s heart, he was reborn.

After his rebirth, You Mian was no longer obsessed with true or false, what was right and what was wrong.

In order to completely disentangle from all the relationships, You Mian agreed to the conditions proposed by the You family and was stuffed into a romance show that supported Bai Lin. He was to act as the clown rejected by Bai Lin’s many suitors.

His former friend, Yan Tingxuan, had an indifferent expression as if he was worried about being entangled by You Mian.

The Best Actor Award winner, Yun Guanqing, who was willing to lower his value to participate in the romance show, didn’t hide his boredom when he looked at You Mian.

Hou Yanzhi, who used You Mian as a stand-in, distanced himself as much as possible during the show and followed Bai Lin wholeheartedly.

You Mian was no longer obsessed with their changes, nor did he long for the family and friendships of his previous life. He just acted indifferently like a bystander.

Just as You Mian was about to finish participating in this show step by step and stay away from this shura field, those people suddenly became unhappy.

Yan Tingxuan asked viciously, “You didn’t send me the heartbeat text message. Who did you send it to?”

Yun Guanqing lowered his eyes and explained with a hoarse voice, “I misunderstood you before.”

Hou Yanzhi tried his best to fight for You Mian’s dating rights, begging shamelessly, “Give me another chance.”

Regarding all of this, You Mian only said, “Thank you, I really don’t want to be entangled with you any longer.”

Determined to expose the truth, Yu Mian chooses to forsake those who betrayed him from his past life, embarking on a captivating face-slapping adventure within a romantic reality TV show. Fortuitous circumstances and karmic retribution align, as love追逐着他的步伐. The entire series was an endearing and fulfilling read, with the readers' comments delightfully reveling in the comeuppance of the绿茶. The newfound pleasure of watching one's lover suffer alongside the antagonist's downfall has become a delightful trope. Many thanks to Rainbow Turtle for the translations.

The book provides a delightful, feel-good reading experience. The main character (MC) handles toxic relationships by cutting ties decisively, which is refreshing. Although the MC's abilities may be overpowered, it fits the narrative. The development of the characters who initially ignored him is well-written, showing their growth as they realize their mistakes. The male lead (ML) initially demonstrates respect for boundaries and patiently waits for the MC to open up, creating a comfortable dynamic.

The storytelling structure is engaging, focusing on both the show's events and the characters' personal lives, giving readers a realistic TV show-within-a-story feel. However, the book falls short with excessive description in certain sections, making it difficult to read at times. The translation and the author's tendency to elaborate on physical details excessively contribute to this issue. Had the author tightened the prose, the novel could have easily been a five-star read. Despite this, the overall positive aspects make it a solid choice for a light-hearted contemporary story.

This is the type of story I enjoy reading as individual chapters are released, but if I were to marathon it, I'd likely lose interest halfway through. The reality show aspect becomes repetitive and serves no real purpose for the plot progression. The initial episode intrigued me due to the engaging character dynamics, but the male leads' constant attempts to win the MC back became tiresome and predictable.

The重生 premise, in my opinion, wasn't necessary for the MC's character development. There are alternative ways the author could have conveyed the same message without重生. For instance, the MC could have realized his mistreatment after losing all his friends, discovering the adoption truth accidentally while checking their records – a more straightforward approach.

The supposed "revenge" or "face-slapping" subplot never materialized satisfactorily. While I'm not against a MC focusing on their own happiness, this story lacked that satisfying resolution due to its drawn-out nature and the lack of genuine understanding from the male leads.

Comparing it to "After I Left the Industry, They Became Fans of My Aliases," the latter executes a similar theme more effectively and concisely.

My main issues include the convoluted backstory regarding the company and the MC's adoptive parents, the excessive focus on "sculpting" which feels unrealistic, and the treatment of Yun Guanqing. Despite his flaws, it felt unfair to dismiss him solely based on a past prediction.

Despite these criticisms, I did appreciate the supporting characters, particularly the pink-haired streamer, whose presence added some entertainment value. The MC and ML's relationship was decent, but the constant pestering from the other male leads grated on my nerves.

In conclusion, I've written a lengthy review for a middle-of-the-book entry because the climax and character development fell short. The book's length and the unrealistic portrayal of sculpting made it less enjoyable for me. If you're knowledgeable about art, you might find the "sculpting" aspects frustrating.

    "Completely engrossing (100% read) -极力推荐!这绝对是我在这读过的最浪漫的故事之一。作者的文笔极其出色,且充满了令人惊喜的意象和象征手法。我并不想破坏任何阅读的乐趣,但这个故事完美地满足了我对美丽爱情故事的渴望。我真的认为这本书非常值得一读!" ~ bunni

The experience was quite monotonous. The narrative heavily relied on recounting past traumas during the events, particularly the slap. The setting, a dating reality show, was excessively described and revisited repetitively with unnecessary commentary. Although some context was provided, it felt excessive and artificially forced, with a focus on past angst leading up to the incident.

The first kiss scene, for instance, was marred by an extensive, drawn-out account of the tense atmosphere, which became overwhelming and detracted from the main storyline. In summary, it felt like padding with forced drama rather than a cohesive narrative progression.

The story had me laughing out loud! The author playfully subverts the cliché of the stern CEO with stomach problems, an icy demeanor, no family background, and a tragic past. Pei HuaiYi stands out as a refreshing change from typical male leads and his cuteness almost wins me over more than the main character. The Pei family is a delightful contrast, full of lovable, kind individuals, not like the scheming uncle or the secretive grandfather.

However, the You family is a different story – they come across as despicable. It's hard to believe their actions, from stealing a baby to manipulating it for their own gain, suppressing the child's talents, it's all just too much. The main character is truly pitiful, and Bai Lin, or whatever her name is, is a conniving nobody.

In conclusion, I highly recommend this novel despite its low rating. It's a lesson in not judging a book by its cover. And to the translator, your work is beautifully done!

"Here's a heartwarming and feel-good story that's perfect for those seeking a healthier, yet indulgent reading experience. The main character, ML, is lovable and respectful throughout, making every moment with Mianmian worthwhile. The narrative is light and enjoyable, thanks to the translator for their hard work. If you're looking for an uplifting tale, this one is worth exploring; the story only gets better as you delve deeper."

I'm not really into this type of thing. I didn't enjoy how quickly everyone fell for You Mian; their behavior towards him annoyed me. Initially, I thought they deserved it, but constant repetition became unbearable, especially when it came to dramatic scenes. There were numerous plot holes that bothered me, like why nobody questioned the sudden appearance of the heir for two years.

I empathized with the other Guan Tong and Shen Nanxiao, trapped in a confusing three-sided love situation. I wasn't expecting the reality TV aspect, which caught me off guard. It wasn't surprising to see Bai Lin exploit others' work, or the father's damage control at the press conference, or the lawyer's actions regarding You Mian's adoption and past. You Mian's exceptional skills and genius status were predictable.

I didn't like the rushed shift in focus from Bai Lin to You Mian, which happened abruptly. It felt like a 50-chapter story stretched out due to repetitive elements, which disappointed me. However, there were some positive aspects. Pei Huaiji and You Mian's relationship had moments of sweetness, and I appreciated their connection. It was heartwarming to see You Mian rely on Huaiji, open up to him, and let him support him through tough times, considering Huaiji as his little genius.

The Guan Tong, Shen Nanxiao, and You Mian friendship was adorable. Overall, while there were flaws, there were redeeming qualities in the story.
