In the realm of Zephorya, a society where power is symbolically adorned like a bracelet, yet hidden beneath a facade of tranquility lies a web of oppression. Cassian Black, born into the leadership of the esteemed Association Utopia (AU), has spent his life grappling with the burden of inheriting a legacy that was never his choice.
After years of rigorous training, he finally earns a "Band," an extraordinary bracelet that endows its wearer with extraordinary abilities. But what he uncovers goes beyond mere tools for strength – every encounter with a Band-user propels him deeper into the heart of Libra, the most formidable underground resistance movement known.
As he traverses Zephorya's complex landscape, the boundaries between allies and adversaries blur. With the fate of the world hanging in the balance, will Cassian rise up to prevent a descent into tyranny, or will he find himself trapped in a game he once believed he could control?

From the moment Zephorya's introduced, I, as a reader, quite enjoyed the world-building. It's new, authentic, and checks off everything from diverse culture to a systematic political structure and epic fight scenes. The concept of Bands is the best part.
Cassian's quite the relatable protagonist, a young man caught in between his family's legacy and the rebel factions. His journey of self-discovery is what can really grab the reader's attention. He's not like those clueless protagonists that hardly know what they're doing; he's straight, upright, and isn't afraid to get his hand dirty.
The plot also has an expert pace to it, with lots of twists and unexpected encounters. I'm really interested to see what his rival, Cyrus, and the rebel faction, Libra, are all about.
The writing itself is immersive, with vivid descriptions that make Zephorya almost a world in its own right. I also like how action scenes have clarity to them. Just simply an enthralling read, to which I hope the author(s) don't abandon this gem.
