Alexander Beckett is a party animal and doesn't know anything about discipline or respect. With his father planing on stepping down and giving his position as CEO of a multi-billion dollar business to Alexander, he first needs to learn some respect and discipline. The only way Alexander's father thinks this will happen is if he sends him to his childhood best friends's ranch in Texas. But Alexander needs more than just a three month rehab at a ranch. He needs to properly grieve for his mother and the only way for him to do that is to talk to his dad. Alexander is given a week to prepare for his three month stay at the ranch. He isn't happy at all and goes to the ranch expecting to be pampered but instead he is bossed around by a cute country boy, Lee Williams. These two soon find a slight attraction to one another, only Lee is the one to try and ignore his feelings for Alexander. In this City Boy Rehab feelings are discovered and others lost.

    Excellent beginning - interesting worldbuilding, immediate ten.sio.n, a race against time! A VR game used to invade other countries. Do I hear echoes of Ender's Game? I'd like to hear how a VR game invasion managed to make it into RL.The MC is racing to get strong enough to beat an invasion of VR players on his country.  But then, things get more complicated, and matters appear that are greater than the fate of a single country or a single person.This novel has layered mysteries, and the MC traveling back in time to participate in a VR game that destroyed countries is just the beginning. I read the brain journey thing and went ah, is this going to be like Knowhere? Unfortunately it wasn't and I stopped reading. I wrote this review instead, haha!As for the MC, Ibrahim is the determined sort of person. He's definitely the kind hero type, not a trash MC. There's not a lot of character development at first; it is the plot that keeps the story moving forward in the first several volumes. Minor problems in formatting - capitalization and punctuation mostly. Could be ignored, and it gets better, but there's a lot in the beginning.Still, I definitely recommend this novel. Great read!

    Hello, readers! This is the author, Bummer, speaking. This review is to bump up a little bit of stats (yes I am very selfish. Hate me for it), but it's also to inform some expectations for the novel.First off, the novel is expected to be big.Acts won't be long, but won't be short (About <20 chapters or more... I'm not quite sure yet.)The novel is also expected to be updated frequently so I don't just leave you guys hanging on one chapter! There will be moments where I'll take breaks but that's normal!The synopsis is intentionally vague and more talkative of the future, so if you were confused... I hope this clears it up... Sort of. My ambition for this story is high and I hope you guys enjoy it just as much as I enjoy creating it.Thanks for viewing this novel, stay tuned for more chapters, and stay safe.
