Lucius woke up from a tap on his shoulder. Rubbing his eyes, he looked around and found himself in a classroom. Class must have evidently been over because there was no one else in it anymore except for him and the person who woke him up.

Bursting out in laughter, Drake held his stomach after trying to seriously listen to the one he shall entrust the future of The Magic Association, the name was decided, it was a gamble… he did not expect to hear such a refusal. This child was really foolish, or perhaps he could say selfless and mindful. Nevertheless, in this world, those usually die first unless their background or strength could not be underestimated. Which in this mage's case was unlikely, he was still a kid with no social experiences, or at least, he barely had any experiences of how society can be harsh.

"Great, meet me at the school gate," she said, smiling at me a little before walking away. I watched her until she left through the main door. I turned back to face the shelve in front of me, letting out a low sad sigh when I remembered when Felix and I would look for a book and he would make lame jokes that made us both laugh and earn spiteful looks from the librarian. Now it was just awkward when we were in close proportion to each other.

Overall a nice read. It has some spelling errors, but it's not so bad that it bothers you much while reading. The story develops at a nice pace and the characters are decently established. I'd say there could be improvements for the most parts, but it's already at a good point and I think you should give it a try. I enjoyed the story so far.
