Such dumb mc....till chapter 170 god....the world and the concept of bloodlines is good but the story development is so-so..and so is the character development till now...
As someone who has caught up to the latest translation as of 24 January 2019. I suggest everyone give the novel a chance. The novel does start off awkwardly, but the author seems to pick up a sense of direction not too long after. There are several ideas that the author wants to bring to fruition, and they are very ambitious. It'll be interesting to see how the author handles it. In terms of the MC: The MC is awkwardly developed in the beginning, but you start to accept the MC's change rather quickly. It's like how Miley Cyrus went from how she was in Hannah Montana to her song Wrecking Ball. In terms of kingdom building: It's fast in the beginning; because the author has many ambitious ideas that he wants to start on. But, the story does slow down to a nice pace later.
I really enjoy this novel and hope for more chapters in the future! I really recommend this novel because, in my opinion, I can't find many bl novels like this. Also, does anybody have any Bl novels similar to this novel?
This is a review based on the free chapters.I wasn't initially expecting much going in, and reading the first chapter, I was actually pretty disappointed since I am usually not a fan of perverted scum main characters.But I'm actually surprised, this is pretty good! It's really funny, and the main character acts like a lunatic, which I think makes it better than usual and redeems him slightly in my eyes.I hope it gets picked, but looking at it I think another novel from this batch already got selected, which is disappointing since it's none of the two novels that I was wanting. Once again qidian has disappointed me in the selection of trial novels! I should probably stop reading these since apparently none of the novels I like ever get selected.
