Beauty and The Bodyguard

There's a TV show adaptation of this novel if peeps are interested in this.

There are still 2 previous works that are totally different. "Very Pure and Ambiguous: The Prequel" and "So Pure so Flirtatious". Now, how they are interconnected I have no idea.

The best part about this is the translation, nothing else stands out. 500 chapters in and still not really a cultivation novel. The characters are all stupid to make the main appear smart. The author has definitely not captured what someone who as done “special ops” acts like. While there are a variety of personalities that get involved with that, in my experience there are traits all of them share. The author was unable to capture that mentality in his writing.

This a good example of what a translation should be with the quality work the translators do.

Someone left a one star review, so I'm here to balance it out. It's a good novel to read and chill. The storyline is good, the Mc is overpowered, the girls are awesome! Personally, I like Yushu the most, her antics <3

Webnovel ruined another story, it was free and getting translated and good with many fans. (Author has three good novels translated) It got forced into here and soon got cancelled. Why do this? Trolls of web-novel got another one down. As person who likes long stories this platform is really bad, storys get dropped here at 1000-1500 all the time. Why bring out new story every week if you dont have translators.

My review is base on what I read so far and also includes the review of some people who read in advance of this novel.

1st the novel filler is to much I mean to much to handle author just insert chapters of nonsense like it was normal.

2nd the characters are so prostrating to read. The mc was so far comical with the harem no touch attitude. If this was japanese I can understand that but as chinese novel it is a huge insult towards chinese harem. The mc womens are also hard to swallow the author seem to wanted to create a tsundare women but it mess up big time. As for the enemies imagine enemy you see at chaptet 10 or something you still see them around chapter 500. The author loves to save enemies and recycle them.

3rd story development. This one was rather good at first. But the author just love to troll and keep making the story on a never ending loop. Keep on introducing hidden story line while living them unfinished.

Finally it was a good story to pass time but a reader has a botton line as well and mine has perhaps cross it so i decide to give up and stop reading this..

Really like this story, voting for it every day . More consistent chapter releases would probably help. I really hope this story can continue to be translated

I don't understand why WN would halt this novel. It's a fun and relaxed read. Quite a bit of plot development albeit a bit slow. But that can't be blamed on the translators of course. I'd say you've got my votes so: WN don't cancel BAB !!!
