Wow, what an amazing presentation for chapter 1. The narration is so captivating, I'm sure readers will love this novel. Somehow the author made this novel so good as if we were made to be in that position. It's stunning.
A very interesting story with a hard-hitting premise about the struggle of poor people and the difficulties they face in an unjust world.I really like Antonio and Jose as characters and really feel for all they've been through. The gambling scenes were really exciting and stressful at the same time. Poor Jose could not catch a break.Yanli is absolutely detestable, I hated every moment he showed up. Overall I think this is a very interesting novel with the potential to get even better.My only remark would be to pay attention to verb tenses. Great otherwise!
