Samuel Foster would be turning 18 in two weeks. He grew up in a fairly normal low case family home with his parents and two younger siblings. The thing out of the ordinary was he knew for as long as he could remember he would be getting married at 18 to a girl he never had met before due to a promise his family had made.

Lena Scarlet, Princess Scarlet was feared by many, respected and loved by everyone near her. Deadly as she was calm, her one annoyance in life was the arranged married he father decided upon before she was born. Being fiercely independent and trained to protect herself, she never felt the need for a relationship or marriage as she fully capable of taking care of all her needs.
However, a promise was a promise and whether either of them liked it or not, their parents were at least going to force them to live together before calling the wedding off.
Please give the book a chance. I'm not the greatest of synopsis writers, as I am sure some of you can tell and the book may be slow at first due to the setup and lead in. But I promise it will getting more interesting as it goes along.

Scene excerpt from the story:
"You didn't happen to think it was important to tell before now?! The princess was furious with the other woman.
"I.." She paused for a second to swallow,
"I never thought that it would come down to this. I promise though that they wouldn't do anything terrible."
"They said the same thing to my father.. but they were wrong. I don't trust anyone's word." The princess replied standing up. The more her anger rose, the darker her eyes got.
"You should just be fortunate that I am not my father. Do you know what he did when faced with a similar situation?" with no reply, she continued
"He killed almost all of them. You could say it was a massacre. Me, I won't got that far, but if anything happens to him, I will personally kill the person who touches him."

The author here was a great story ,some story developement and character developement , the only think that i didnt like was the dinamic between the female lead and the male lead, this is my opinion and is biased because i hate josei(i dont know what is called the reverse of this instead of being the female lead weak is the male lead) type of storys and this story feels like this, if i was the mc and had the chance to run away from the female lead i would run, i will continue reading because the author does a great job to make me entretained through the story, but i expect some developement from the male lead.

Tried to be somewhat honest here.
Love the story so far up to chapter 40.
I do have some things that irk me but let's start off with it's a perfect setup. love the twist and laughed at brother making a move. overall is a new take on something I haven't seen done and I really can't wait to see how it works out.

    now the bad things.
like this post the grammar is not the best and some words are missing here and there. but I don't care much about it because Im worse.

the overall mc is kinda a big baby. he acts like he has no social skills with the female lead but he can act and talk fine to everyone else. he gets uncomfortable and acts a certain way that just doesn't come across as his normal character. now it can be overlooked but it's very noticeable and in many guy roles the character just doesn't fit. perhaps more of a build up and backstory or maybe a reason why he acts in a certain way with her. but when you have another female mentioned from school and he plays paintball with 8 friends... you know his social skills are not that lacking.

for the female lead I think she's very pushy and wants to be a man and as you see she's doing it because the role she is in. there is reasons and it works and maybe some backstory? who knows just keep making those chapters.

in all if you can spare to read this ugly post of mine then you can read this book. I give it 4 stars and I hope to see more.

One question before I start, is this a novel about mc being stepped on and bullied by his wife and is weaker than her? If so then please give a heads up

If your looking for a good romance and don't have a problem with the girl being the lead in the relationship I would definitely recommend it. This book quickly got me hooked, I have not noticed any errors in the writing and the character development is amazing. I am currently on ch 45 and my only comment is I hope that the author doesn't get so caught up in Sam's character growth they forget about Lena(this has not been a problem so far)

The grammar and typos make this a slightly annoying read. The nicknames are cringe. The FL isn’t really my cup of tea in terms of her behavior. Admittedly, I did drop this book early because I was just unable to get into it, so I don’t know if the story gets better.
