Other men, lesser men, measure power in terms of money or political influence or sexual conquests. But I have seen what true power is, and it is not found in checkbooks, voting booths, or bedrooms. No, true power is the power of life and death.

Every time I end a life, I end a universe. Yes, a whole universe. The private cosmos that had been their world. The earth, sun, and stars, human history, culture, and art....all of it had existed, for them, only in their mind. Now they\'re dead, and, for them, those things exist no more.

That is the secret I have learned. To wield power, ultimate power—the power to erase existence, void reality, blot out stars and galaxies with one stroke—it is not necessary to bring on Armageddon. It is necessary only to take a life.

The God of the Old Testament is said to have created the world in six days. But I can wipe out a world in less than a minute, and I can do it whenever I please. Who, then, is the more powerful? Who is the greater god? The creator of one world—or the destroyer of many?

"\\"Angel of Death\\" is a riveting literary journey that left me thoroughly captivated. The narrative weaved a haunting tapestry of life, death, and redemption, painting vivid characters with an edge of intrigue. The protagonist's struggle against destiny was both heart-wrenching and inspiring, as the line between good and evil blurred in every turn. This thought-provoking tale kept me on the edge of my seat until the very last page, a testament to its masterful storytelling."

"Angel of Death" is a thought-provoking novel that delves into the intricate tapestry of life, death, and the human condition. Set against a backdrop of profound themes, the story weaves a narrative around the encounters between an unlikely protagonist and the personification of Death himself. The author masterfully explores the fear, acceptance, and the search for meaning that often accompany our final journey.

The novel invites readers to ponder the existential questions about the inevitability of mortality and the power of love, as the protagonist grapples with their own mortality while witnessing others face it. Through its characters, we witness the resilience of the human spirit, the strength of relationships, and the capacity for growth even in the face of the ultimate challenge.

What sets "Angel of Death" apart is its ability to evoke empathy without succumbing to melodrama. It encourages readers to reflect on their own values and priorities, urging them to live more fully and appreciate the connections they share with others. Ultimately, the novel serves as a poignant reminder that, despite the presence of an Angel of Death, there is still beauty, grace, and a whisper of hope in the darkest of moments.

In a human tone, "Angel of Death" is a compassionate tale that leaves us pondering the fragility of life and the enduring power of compassion, love, and the indomitable will to find solace in the face of our shared mortality. It is a profound exploration that stays with the reader long after the last page is turned.

Of course I'm shamelessly giving myself five stars. Don't mind me.

Crime + Murder Mystery + Horror

Is the plan, this is a big shift from my usual stuff so we will see how it goes.

This has been on my list of potential ideas forever, even before I thought of my other books. I have a bunch of chapters written up already so I'm gonna have a stab at it.

Been reading this for a few days and it definitely deserves more people reading it since it is a breath of fresh air from the usual novels on here.

It's a murder-mystery/detective story but the story is from the perspective of the Killer our MC. Though there are switches in Pov.

The chapters are long and the author could definitely chop them up to two or three chapters to gain more leeway in writing it, just saying.

But the story is good so far. Would recommend.

This is one of those stories you find and then can't put down. Although there aren't many chapters yet, I can see how well the story will progress.

The writing style is top-tier, great grammar-wise, text is fluid, and writing is exceptional. Added your book to my library to continue reading!

This novel was recommenced to my by a friend, and NGL, I don't regret opening it at all, good story/world building, with very interesting character's backgrounds, and what seems to be a mystery inside of mystery world.

Didn’t actually read much from that genre, but imo it’s well written and shows why and how things are happening. How he grows into who he will be. Just read until chapter 3, but it’s seems promising.
