The man is so cruel and mean. I really don't understand Avery. She seems like an intelligent person but she is a pushover unfortunately. I'll keep reading though, hoping she becomes fierce and kicks his ass.
The story is great so far! Your first few chapters really hooked me and it's very well-written. Just be mindful that you tend to shift from present tense to past tense a lot - just stick to one tense. Other than that it's an awesome book. Keep it up author :)
When it says that her boyfriend dumped her, he actually didn't. "Deep Love - Reina no Unmei" tells the story of a teenage mother. She loves her daughter, cares for her boyfriend, and has what seems like a great life.
Story: 10/10
I absolutely loved this story. It is indeed very tragic, so if you're only into rainbows and sunshine, I'd recommend reading something else. This narrative beautifully portrays happiness, family relationships, and the struggles of life. Hey, it even resonates with some real-life pregnant teens out there.
Art: 10/10
The art style feels strikingly familiar. It effectively captures the expressions of the characters and includes some intimate scenes in certain parts. These scenes can make the characters appear either unattractive or beautiful. I just have to say, I love the art!
Characters: 9/10
Reina is cheerful, caring, and loving towards others. She's friendly and outgoing, always trying her best to please people. However, I must point out that she seems a bit... naive. Why would you choose to become a prostitute when you could work at McDonald's? But overall, I admit her life is quite sad.
Enjoyment: 10/10
This story gave me a newfound respect for dramas. Typically, I dislike tragedies and dramas, but this one truly touched my heart with its compelling narrative.
Overall: 10/10
In conclusion, I thoroughly enjoyed the manga, and I'm confident you might too. If you appreciate tragic romances and family struggles, you'll likely enjoy this.
If you've read my review for Deep Love Ayu no Monogatari, you might notice some similarities.
Deep Love Reina no Unmei is undoubtedly the saddest and most tragic of them all. It narrates the story of Reina, who is a friend, lover, and mother. The artwork is impressive, and while there aren't many characters, the limited cast perfectly suits this brief manga. It's a fast read, yet an incredibly difficult one to get through emotionally. If you're searching for a happy manga, I highly recommend turning back before diving into this one. However, if you believe you can endure it, I strongly urge you to give it a read!
