Ivan, a civil engineering student in Russia, is on the brink of completing his degree when fate takes an unexpected turn. Whisked away to 20th-century America, Ivan finds himself in a world that seems similar but reveals itself to be wildly different. Here, beneath the bustling cities landscapes, lies a hidden society of wizards, one where Ivan discovers he, too, holds untapped magical abilities.

Yet the world of wizards is nothing like the realm of reason and progress he’s familiar with. Instead of enlightenment, Ivan finds a society trapped in old, brutal ways, a place where magical power rules, and a fierce struggle for dominance reigns. It’s a place where wizards, like predators in the jungle, seek to overpower and devour one another, locked in cycles of rivalry and survival.

As Ivan navigates this new reality, he must learn to wield his powers and survive in a magical world ruled by raw ambition and treacherous alliances. With the skills of a civil engineer and the instincts of a novice wizard, he sets out to build his own place in this concrete jungle, where the line between civilization and savagery blurs in unexpected ways.

You were just simply narrating the story but you lack when it comes to reader's engagement. I feel no emotion while reading, but the introduction almost got me though. Remember, a boring and lack of emotion book is one in which the readers fails to engage.

Why is it taking so long to get an update? I spend a lot of money for me to have to wait so long?
