When the bully falls in love

"No one likes poking fun at someone's round face or dating someone covered in freckles," Vince chuckled, a sly grin tugging at the corners of his lips. "Alright, drop your pride and stop daydreaming about my perfect physique," he growled, his tone harsh. I go by Perez, though the bullies call me Fatrez due to my weight, which I can't control. It's a fact, and despite my efforts, there hasn't been any miracle to change it. The leader of the bullies, though strikingly handsome, is the catalyst for their cruel remarks. He often initiates the taunts, setting the tone for the others to follow. Despite his good looks, the thought of him ever considering me is laughable. With my obesity, perceived lack of intelligence, and extra front teeth, I'm a non-entity. Even if I were a boy, I doubt anyone would give me a chance. He'd surely mock me without mercy. My only escape seems to be disappearing or, worse, taking my own life to end the torment. They might feel guilt, but I doubt it with someone as arrogant as Vince. I need to survive to seek revenge, make his life a living nightmare. Perhaps then, I could find some satisfaction in knowing I caused him pain. But maybe the bully isn't invincible, with a heart as cold as I once believed. Maybe beneath that tough exterior lies vulnerability. His heart, too, must bleed, and I could wound it if given the chance.
