First of all, there are rarely good sci fic books which will give you the particular vibe right of the hop. The author did a good job in creating the atmosphere which will shove you into some futuristic setting effortlessly. It gives off a feeling of calmness and genuine peace but then there is a mystery aspect of the character and the tone shift was sudden but not bad. The plot moves well and smoothly and the pacing isn't bad. I enjoyed it.
