"What you truly loved, my dear lady, wasn't me, but a mirage, a deceit you yearned to embrace," he said, his smile not reaching his eyes as he gazed at her, witnessing the depth of her pain and betrayal etched on her face. "Can you honestly宣称你现在还爱我吗? The real me, flawed and all, can you forgive every hurt I've caused and still declare your love?" He searched her eyes, desperately hoping for a glimmer of affection, but alas, it was gone, shattered by his own callous actions. "And now?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. "Only goodbye," he replied, placing her gently on the ground. "Return to your pre-existing life, the one before I came along. Erase the enchanting lies, the harrowing reality, and forget me. Live, my love." She hesitated, watching him step away warily, fearing another trap. Seeing him not approach, she turned to leave, but his strong grip stopped her, pulling her into a bittersweet embrace that seemed to defy their impending farewell. Born into the world as an unwanted child of royalty, exiled among the priests, Sara's existence had been uneventful and filled with self-imposed disgrace. Seeking answers to her true identity, she embarked on a journey filled with love, struggle, secrets, and heartache. Little did she know, her path would intertwine with a demonic lord, who claimed she held the pen that would shape their world's destiny... There was a guys who made a great comment about these kind of novels, but I can't find it anymore, which must be due to the great reset, but it went something like this:
    "Reader 1: Why are there so many novels about chronically ill and crippled MCs?
    Reader 2(replying to reader 1):
    Because Authors wanna make MCs that oneshot their enemies while sitting in a wheelchair."

    The delivery might have been different because at the time I found it very funny.

    I think the perennial problem with serialized books is how the author is able to maintain readers interest. Oftentimes,  we give up because the story is becoming ridiculously boring and predictable.  I hope this book is not one of those.
