Over the years, Lauren's grandmother religiously made daily visits to the basement, a place Lauren was forbidden from entering due to the alleged presence of a supernatural being. One fateful day, her grandmother tasked her with lighting candles down there. As Lauren ventured into the mysterious space, she encountered a terrifying sight - a cursed werewolf named Alex, who had been trapped in darkness for ages. This encounter marked a turning point in Lauren's life, but little did she know that falling in love with Alex would come with a profound cost. During a family gathering, Lauren's actions took everyone by surprise when she tried, albeit unsuccessfully, to harm Alex's grandfather, the former Alpha King. Her sinister plot backfired, and her life spiraled downward. Now faced with the consequences, Lauren wonders if Alex will remain loyal to their unspoken bond or walk away from her entirely.

Unlike others I didn't find it cute or funny. I am not reading it just for the sake of it. I know that the protag is just a 4yo kid but why so much crying? Protag's guardians are friggin uncivilized, POS brutes, beating her at any chance they get instead of explaining things properly to the child. I have been beaten worse by my parents and teachers for the smallest of things and hence I don't agree with the notion of they are beating because they love you BS. The "system" is gimped and incompetent. I know it is supposed to be from a child's POV but I think the author is dismissing mental illnesses like some common cold. So I have read 100+ chapter in hopes that it would get better but sadly it doesn't.
    Anyway that's my opinion. YMMV

How Tyler has always treated Vicky is disgusting. I'm just hoping he doesn't show up or he'll embarrass Vicky in front of Avery, you all know how he loves to embarrass her as well as hurt her emotionally and force for to do thing all the time. He loves treating her this way. It's a fun game for him.
