After the First Genetic War they were dubbed as heroes of humanity. Saviors which delivered the human race from devouring itself into an apocalypse. These heroes set out to change humanity and give them the power to protect themselves, to change their lives forever with genetic enhancement, the way of the future. However, there were those in humanity that despised this power and sought to destroy these so called heroes. The Second Genetic War ensued, causing the highest casualty rating in the history of all human wars combined. In the end, the genetically enhanced lost, and were proclaimed as monsters in the eyes of the world. They were subsequently named 'Heroes', to serve humanity in a way more suiting to the taste of their captors, as slaves.
A thousand years have passed since these events and a new generation of 'heroes' has arrived. These 'heroes' must survive their life as they live as slaves to the rest of humanity. Never knowing the history of why they are what they are, just that they must serve a humanity that despises them in the deepest part of their hearts.
