In the tranquil woods surrounding his territory, Alpha Garreth of the Forest Edge Pack was on patrol when an unexpected rogue creature struck. The attacker vanished just as swiftly, leaving Garreth to succumb to his injuries, with his loyal wolf by his side. As darkness enveloped him, he bid farewell to his companion, only to awaken to find himself miraculously healed. A captivating aroma filled the air, but where was his mate? Despite his exhaustive search, he couldn't locate her, despite her scent lingering everywhere in the forest. Years passed, and the memory of her fragrance haunted him, threatening to drive him mad without her presence. Hazel, a wood nymph, had grown accustomed to loneliness after her parents' untimely demise. Though a skilled healer, she faced rejection from her fellow nymphs. During a chance encounter with a critically injured wolf, Hazel felt an electric connection when she touched him. Fear compelled her to leave, despite her longing to stay. When a witch offered Hazel a seemingly incredible opportunity to visit the human town and potentially reunite with the wolf, she jumped at the chance, hoping for a small favor. However, as the favor unfolded, it entailed a test that could determine if their long-lost love would ever truly come together. Would Garreth and Hazel be able to defy the odds and overcome their circumstances, or would their reunion be cut short once more by fate?

Monillas: a human garbage. How should I put this into words? My roots come from various parts of Asia. Even though I had the privilege of being born in a first world country far away from the poverty and was allowed to flourish, go to school, have an easy life etc. I still know, hear and see the struggles of the people, family who were left behind. Poverty, desperation - they are all very real and well described within this novel.Granted, the grammar is lacking and would need an editor to work through it, but the idea and the story is still very well established and shown - and profoundly realistic. This is a story of poverty, desperation, and the things people are ready to do when they have no other options left. So far the story follows male characters. I can only imagine and fear what the story would be like if it was told from a female's perspective. All in all, I like how well the author writes about the reality of poverty in these countries. With editing and a better grasp on the English language, I'm sure the author can deliver wholesome and heart-wrenchingly realistic stories. Keep writing, author!0 0 Reply
