The more I read the more I am saddened how such a masterpiece is being butchered by mediocre translation. Qidian, please find a new group for this novel. At this point I would rather read the MTL.

Amber Sword?  But probably not as good as that. Hmm... Descent of the Magic God and Night Ranger. This book is gonna have some serious competition. I hope author treats the world as a real world and the 'ex' NPCs like humans or monsters... Or whatever their species is. MC acting like the whole world is his gameboard is outdated and well,  impossible. Since ppl are real can we have proper effects of The Butterfly Theory and also his affect on timeline.  His every action will suposedly be against the actual plot. So please... Give us some plot clashes and unexpected events. Now for the much awaited rating.Honestly,  I can't see the book. Is it a bug???  So I am giving a one star to all of it. I am really sorry here. I tried to read and give proper ratings,  but the books is probably too high tired for low levelers like me. I can see nothing!  *sob*So one star.  Really sorry. Don't walk away from this one....RUN! The summary forgot to mention he is in a modern world and likes to stream his deductions... A large chunk of the chapters is the viewer comments. So many of this kind on trial...not one selected as far as I can remember.

Definitely the type of novel I would read.Grammar has little to no errors. Prose and narration are fluid, descriptions are conveyed with intricate details. Dialogue is good also. Nothing much I could really critique. Definitely one of the gems here at WN. Keep up the good work.

Read this on another website, at chapter 670-something. Every human being needs something meaningful to do - read a book, work, watch a series. Without those interests in our lives, we become mere husks, shells of our former selves. Without the meaning in our lives, life becomes a bland and long thing. This novel is the embodiment of what happens when life loses its meaning.'Warlock Apprentice' is like watching paint on walls dry. You just stare, blink and look passively as the paint dries. The wall is dry? great! now lets move forward to the next wall! This continues for 670 chapters.This novel is like '120 days of sodom', just instead of horrible physical abuse, your mind is the sole beneficiary of the torture. It is slow. So, so slow. Actually, the writing isn't all that bad. It would've certainly been a pretty awesome novel if something progressed. Alas, it is just a photo taken accidentaly - nothing moves forward, with no meaning or purpose. Normally, you'd delete those photos. Shame I can't delete someone else'.
