Carter is what you would call a loser and a geek. He dreams of being a hero but knows he will never be one, but that doesn't stop him from dreaming. His end came unexpectedly and without his knowing surrounded by darkness and him not knowing what to do when light once again enveloped him.

Authors note: Like many this is my first book so i'm going to be trying different things out in it to try and get things exactly right. As an example i'm going to try and change the way the character speech appears, but im not sure how well it will go. P.S. I would love suggestions and tips to try and help me with my writing!
