Since the beginning of the world mortals have had souls. Each and every one of them were once made by Phoria, goddess of life, even if they, later on, were twisted, corrupted, uplifted or outright destroyed. Phoria helped each of the other major gods to create their own people with their own souls; Talmaenna made the elves, Kaenig the dwarven people and Metritz got the humans. They each had their own flavour of souls, but it was still the same basic construct.
Aphiir, a minor god of inspiration primarily worshipped by engineers in the dwarven and gnomish communities is doing something new. He's creating his own type of soul - from scratch. Not because he wants his own race or anything but because he wants to see if he can't do it better. He is a god of crafting after all and what is a soul but a very complicated, living, evolving, and unique mana construct?

The story will follow the soul after it's cast onto the mortal plane and as it tries to survive there. I dunno I'm not an experienced writer but I really wanna try and actually write something... longer I guess. I'll try this stuff out during november and hope to have a few chapters out a week depending on the week and how I feel I guess ^^
I write pretty slow too so the chapters probably won't be long but I'll try my best to give them some meat at least ^^'
