I've read the raws via MTL and I can tell you, this is one of the best novels in Qidian. Very brutal, very dark, realistic in the sense that any fight can and will result in deaths without being curbstomps... it's a gem that needs more love.Also, a wuxia not a xianxia/xuanhuan, so be prepared for that... no eat-an-immortal-pill/cultivation-breakthrough/beat-up-enemy-sect infinite loop like you see in so many WNs.

The genesis portrayed so well and have already give me the vibes from their fight. It's flow was quite interesting which give me insights as if I was the player, Vanessa. She looks cool and awesome. I wonder what else discoveries she'll find on the game...heh ^^

So this novel is firstly, not my cup of tea for now. I'm still going to keep track just in case it gets more interesting, but I'm not very invested for now. What makes this not my cup of tea is the constant dialogue that was happening. Instead of action there was words. I prefer action over words. One other problem that I had with this novel was the instant dive into the background of the whole. An instant dive into the background seems good, but the problem is that I was given no time to relate to the protagonist in anyway or simply put, I wasn't convinced to care about him. Also there were so many people that it becomes needlessly complicated in a sense. Basic summary of the story beware of SPOILERS for CH 1-14: The MC is the younger brother of the older brother and their parents are dead. They are nobility so they are in a comfortable situation. The MC's teacher is a transmigrator that failed and is getting rejected by the world. Also, other people are looking for an item held by the teacher or at least suspected to be with him. Lastly, the MC is trying to become a wizard.

The world building along with the character development is the best thing about this novel. It really shows its characters in a completely different image than most people would think. The update stability is really low and I am so far loving this novel so, Its tough to wait for more 😖Btw it's a really great novel and I recommend this to every one. Keep it up author! 😁👍
