For three consecutive years, Heidi devoted herself entirely to serving Lucas, lavishing him with boundless affection and striving to embody the ideal homemaker. Their love story began with a genuine connection, but on their third wedding anniversary, their world turned upside down. Lucas unexpectedly presented her with divorce papers, accusing her of marrying him solely for financial gain. "Didn't you think I wouldn't discover your true intentions? Your grandfather's payment might have been substantial, but I assure you, I can triple that. Just sign the papers," he said coldly, viewing her as nothing more than a gold digger. Heidi's world shattered when she learned about his ex-partner's return, understanding the reason behind Lucas' sudden change. In his eyes, she had endured countless trials and humiliation, sacrificing her identity as Phoenix City's wealthiest heiress for their relationship. Feeling the weight of her efforts falling flat, Heidi realized she could no longer be the desperate housewife he perceived. She had dreams and aspirations beyond being just a wife. Lucas was about to learn that meddling with his former, now-secretly wealthy wife, would come at a great cost. As hidden truths unraveled one by one, Lucas would crawl, humiliated, imploring her to reconsider. But Heidi held firm, determined to uphold her independence and claim her rightful place as an empire's heir. No, she would not go back, for she had a future built on her own strength and legacy to protect.

I really liked this except for:
A) I honestly think there should have been /some/ kind of romance. There is so many potential people for him to get involved with and he really doesn't with any of them.
B) The ending is too open ended for me. And there is still some stuff that I'm not sure got wrapped up. (annoyed you don't get Jessica's back story, among other things.)
Its otherwise great, there is a ton of things going on and if you can keep up with the explanations I think most of it is consistent and explained well.
I didn’t want to even leave a comment at first cause surely the novels might be identical no big deal
But after reading king Of gods men i felt annoyed
And again plagiarism is plagiarism for a reason this is not taking ideas
I read many identical cultivation novels over the years and even though they were mostly similar not to this extent
