He's just a little nearer to her when he was block by a shabby looking boy with feet shackles in chains. What is his deal? Now not only he is protecting the girl, but also the beast whom she was sitting seems to be in his wild rage. His fangs are dangerously showing and his eyes where the essence of danger. One look and he seems to tremble in front of these wild beast.
On one hand, that meant she was breaking one of his rules. On the other hand, it meant she hadn't come to kill him. She probably knew he'd survive getting shoved off the roof to the ground below.
So I've read 16 chs in and mc is constantly getting beaten or insulted every other ch, he can choose to accept the 'blessing' to become powerful, it's some sort of innate ability/talent of that world but he chose not to and thereby becoming the weakest student of the academy and getting constantly bullied. Story might progress well as I've not even completed 20 ch but I am tired of seeing mc getting pushed around all the time. It's like the other novel where mc is the son of villainess where he is insulted every chapter and getting literally bloddied every four chs or so. The character design is good but it gets a bit confusing when the narration changes from people to people.
A quick read through of this story and getting to chapter 7; Wanted to stop and place a quick review of the story so far. Right now I would say the strongest thing this book has going for it is the strong pacing; unique story telling in a saturated market and ontop of all that the power system is fun, unique and just flat out cool. The fights and character interactions are just spot on and engaging and no fight drags on.Keep writing Author!
