    He was essentially creating a fire pit. As the sun sets in the horizon and the moon slowly emerges from the other side, it was time for him to settle down and sleep through the night. He gathered some of the dried books and tore out a couple of their pages. He placed the torn out pages into the fire pit while he pulled out a lighter from his bag.
