A pair of curses have conspired to leave 17-year-old Ranma trapped in a feminine body she never asked for, and too physically sensitive to take a hit. Both are big problems for a martial arts master who used to be an arrogant boy. With no way back to the life she knew, she flees the home of her abusive father and leaves her fiancée behind in search of a life she can call her own.
But, life on the streets of 1989 Tokyo isn't easy. After months alone and barely surviving, she stumbles hungry and broken into the Phoenix, a dive bar run by a hard-edged but kindly woman and the four hard-luck girls she took in out of the cold.
Make that five.
Ranma's new lease on life - as Ranko - gives her the chance to work through her trauma and experience the first unconditional love she's ever known. Empowered by the support of her new family, the partner she never expected to see again, and a newfound passion for music, Ranko begins to embrace her new identity as a young woman and rises from the ashes of the person she used to be.

this is another typical chinese novel. the mc is op and leveling up faster where in he already has the ability to compete the older generation which is good in my perspective. BUT, the biggest downside most the Chinese author is that they can't utilize the power of imagination to create a fantasy, martial arts genre with an amazing and unique world background and settings without replicating the continent, and those superpower countries in our own planet earth just to justify their own china and make the other countries as villain and evil which is very cringe and hypocritical on their part.I REALLY HOPE TO ENJOY READING A NOVEL WITHOUT ANY NATIONALISM AND ONE-SIDED PERSPECTIVE WHERE IN THE AUTHOR SERVE AS A NEUTRAL NARRATOR JUST READING A WONDERFUL AND OUT OF THIS WORLD NOVEL.0 0 Reply

The cover looks like Subaru holding a rasengan. That is all i wanted to say, you may stop reading this “review”. Why are you still reading this “review”, dont you have anything better to do, oh wait my bad, you have way too much free time judging by how you’re reading fantasy novels. ok, that was uncalled for but its truuuuuu0 0 Reply

This book is written so weirdly, like it glossed and introduces seemingly important aspects of the story midway with no clarification whatsoever and uses terms that literally no ones ever before in a casual way. It's also weird how Did Maner is 16 and described in a sexual manner, hella strange. I don't get how people praise this book for the fact that it isn't a harem but is 9 okay with sexualizing an actual 16 year old...0 0 Reply

Honestly not that bad but the wordpadding bothers me alot. It makes 3 paragraphs with each saying the exact same thing just in different format and the over repetitive use of the "did you know" for example: the use of 'date trees' and how it is considered the desert people's "bread" is wordpadded into a long paragraph that keeps appearing chapter after chapter to the point where you feel like its being shoved down your throat. If you dont mind the over use of wordpadding then you might enjoy this but its a pass for me.0 0 Reply
