By the side of the table, there was a map stitched to the wall. It showed the entire "Glory Continent" "What a pretentious name! Ariel thought. it was clearly divided into three parts. To the north was the demon's territory, it was not that it had only demos but the majority of them resided there, to the south the majority was angels and in the center was the place of the mortals, where Ariel was.
Somehow, I felt like compared to my hate towards Yukiyo was unjustified. To be fair he threw me into a hole because he thought I was dead. Compared to Ben I was being petty, still doesn't change the fact that I'm in a shitty situation. "So, do you hate the Yukiyo?" I asked.
{unbelievable we had just started and she already has control of her power} I thought before I smirked and fazed away making her stumble forward she was then kicked in the back sending her crash landing to the ground
Everybody else seems to be quite adapted to this kind of heat. Hell, Desmond, Franko, and Gen. Barredo are hardly showing any sweat. I'm also handling the heat well but those 3 make this march look like a morning walk. I can understand our guides being ahead of us since they're locals but those same 3 are walking side-by-side with them.
I felt a sharp punch to my heart. I remembered some of my first lesson on The Archaic Arts - that red was supposedly the color of Chaos. Those who were Gifted in the color red were to be exiled immidiately from the school. But wait.. maybe it was a mistake. There's a lot of Celestial having red as their colors. Maybe i got chosen by Mars, the god of wars and blood. Or Hemontia, the goddess of blood....
The concept was nice, the character's development was slow and steady and really good to follow. I just have two problems: 1. world background, not sure if the settings are in the current era, future world where the city was destroyed and was still surviving or even in the past until I read up to chapter 12 when the system comes out. 2. using too much underscore, it is not a problem when reading but when you listen with audio.
